Craft House welcomes friend and colleague, Jonas Ogren, to the team
We've been fortunate to build Craft House around a simple belief: that the best work happens when the right people are in the room. Today, we're proud to announce that Jonas Ogren has joined Craft House as Principal — and for us, this is one of those moments where the right person has arrived at exactly the right time.
Jonas brings over 25 years of hospitality experience that spans almost every dimension of the industry. He has worked at the property level across HR, F&B, and sales and marketing; led destination marketing as Managing Director of the Marianas Visitor's Authority on Saipan; shaped how the industry measures itself as Head of STR Global Asia Pacific; and provided development advisory and valuation services with Horwath HTL in Singapore — where he and Yvette first worked together. Few people understand hospitality from as many vantage points as Jonas does, and that breadth is exactly what our clients need.
Beyond his professional career, Jonas has consistently shown up for the industry in a broader sense — leading industry organizations, supporting educational initiatives, and building family-led business ventures in Singapore and Europe. He leads with generosity as much as expertise.
Jonas was born in Sweden, came of age in Ethiopia, studied at Cornell's School of Hotel Administration, and built a career that took him from Beijing to the Northern Mariana Islands to Singapore before settling in Monaco. His path reflects something we believe deeply at Craft House: that the most interesting hospitality thinking comes from people who have genuinely experienced the world rather than observed it from a distance.
With Jonas based in Monaco and Yvette in New York, Craft House now operates with a stronger European and global reach than ever. Together, they bring clients a rare combination — the creative and strategic instincts to define what a concept should be, and the operational and financial experience to make it real.
We're building something good. We're glad Jonas is part of it.
