Mark Somen, CEO, The Conduit

Some appointments feel inevitable. This is one of them.

After five years as a Partner at Craft House, Mark Somen has been appointed CEO of The Conduit — our client, and one of the most anticipated private club openings in London in years. Set across eight stories in Mayfair, The Conduit is being built around a deliberate idea: that business, creativity, and positive impact belong in the same room. Finding someone to lead it required deep operational expertise, cultural intelligence, and genuine conviction about the role business can play in the world. Mark has all of it.

His career began at sixteen in his native Kenya, leading safaris for Abercrombie & Kent. What followed was built across Four Seasons, China Grill Management, Soho House — where he served as US Director of Operations during the years that defined what the modern private club could be — and Tribe Hotel Nairobi. He joined Craft House in 2012 and spent five years working with clients across Los Angeles, Nashville, Miami, Manila, New York, and Bali.

The Conduit is a perfect next chapter. London is lucky to have him.

Mark will remain a trusted strategic advisor to Craft House. The relationship doesn't end here — it evolves.
